But Which Door?

Posted on February 28, 2013. Filed under: Uncategorized |

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”  (Matthew 7:7-8)

I find comfort and hope in these words. But the question I’ve been having lately is this: How many doors do I have to knock on before the right one is opened? But I guess when we ask God to only open the right door, we should feel thankful for the closed ones because we know He is intervening for us and will only give us what is best. I just sometimes wish that I could come upon the right door sooner. But I have to keep going and hang on to this promise. A door will be opened for me. That is a guarantee. And just maybe the longer I have to wait, the better it is going to be on the other side.
